MAC has some great glittery, black eyeshadows like:
Black Tied- Pigmented black w/silver, white sparkle
Suspicion- Deep black with gold shimmer
Smut- Muted black w/red shimmer
Well those of the only ones I can think of, but they will help you more if you go to the MAC counter.
Mac has one that I use - there's black black and there's grey
Ulta brand has an awesome one called ';galexy'; and its only 6 dollars!
Nars...sephora carries it..they have the most gorgeous black glittery eyeshadow.

Non glittery gold eyeshadow?
I am looking for a gold eyeshadow to highlight the inner corners of the eyes but I don't like glittery make up.
The glitter always ends up all over my face and the gold eyeshadows that I have tried have had glitter in
I have a nice silver one from Rimmel and would like to find something similar in gold.

I have one from Clinique which is a great texture, creamy powdery, it works really well for definition (I sometimes line my eyes with it to go out) and it stays put without half your face being powdered with it.
I am not sure if you are in the UK or over the pond, but as a few people have already told you, Mac makeup do a brill gold eyeshadow and I am in Edinburgh and Harvey Nicholls is the only place I can get it. your other answers have mentioned Sephora and I thought that you could only get Sephora shops in the USA, or am I wrong?
Estee Lauder put out a TERRIFIC gold shadow with their summer line. I think that it may still be available. It came packaged in a gold case with a variety of other colors in brown, beige and olive green. I also believe that they sell it individually. Look on www.esteelauder.com.

Sally beauty supplies sells glitter powder for 1.29 a jar, and they can be use as eye shadow, I use them for eye-liner with TooFaced Liquif-eye, and so far like the results. If you can find specialty beauty supply stores in your area, like professional salon supplies etc, then they usually carry the brand NYX, they have very nice shimmery and glittery shadows, pigments, creams etc, and very inexpensive the the quality. I've seen NYX at Big Lots but the one near my house only had them in clearance bins, and for those of you who haven't been to the Big Lots clearance bins, its messy..... but dirt cheap. I've also seen NYX at dollar stores..... I buy all my NYX at my local Nail Supply store for less than the price on cherryculture.com.
If price is not an issue, I will go with MAC, they have very glittery and Shimmery shadows in many colors, Stila shimmery shadows are not bad, but I haven't seen Glittery ones.

I gotta get mine to tell you what its called okay okay i got it uhm, well it has a sticker on it [ a little square glass container like an inch big] and the sticker sais ';NEW nouveau'; but uhm, the top says ';wet n wild Mega Shimmer *shimmer dust*'; Its almost like it is glitter powder but on a brush it is so neat like you put this stuff on you're eye lids and I mean wow they're sparkly, plus the glitter won't get all over your face like some do unless you like rub it all over, haha. Hang on Ima go ask my mom where she got it

have you checked walmart? they used to have a mary kate and ashley brand that had a lot of different colored sparkly eye shadows, also the brand Jane from wal mart used to have silver and gold eyeliners that go well with white eyeshadows to give a nice glow to your eyes
just a thought, check it out, it was quite some time ago that i wore sparkly eye shadow myself, but i would think they still have something to that measure;
the sparkly dust your friend uses sounds like a good plan too, mix with whatever color you'd like and you get a more versatile use of the sparkly dust

Like everyone mentioned, MAC has great glittery eye shadows. But I also love the eye shadows from BeneFit. It's called Show Off and it comes in a variety of colors. It's a loose eye powder. And you can apply that with a dry brush or wet brush and it gives you a different look for each.

seriously, Bon Bons...those small quarter-sized jars of loose glittery/shimmer pigment they sell at Wal-Mart, usually in the plastic bins somewhere around the make-up....those cute little .98 cent goodies!
they're so, so beautiful and have the prettiest shimmer %26amp; glitter appearance. (granted, i use UD's primer potion with a very cheap product, it still works wonderfully.)
this stuff is jam-packed in a jar and comes in a couple of beautiful shades, the prettiest being the pearly white. (great highlighter and/or base.) another trick if you don't like primers, use a sheer, basic chap-stick as a base...it makes the pigment really POP on your lid.Best Glittery eyeshadow???

Rimmel has the ';stars'; line which is the BEST I've ever tried, it's really sparkly and comes in a roll on. It's powder not cream which is better because creams are too thick and sticky and by the end of the night will form ugly clumps or crease.....

Rimmel has some glitter eyeshadow pencils. I'm not sure what you mean by bright colors, but their glitter pencils are very sparkly and are pretty, and they're not expensive. (At least, that's true here in US.) But for real bright colors with glitter, my go-to has always been Hard Candy. Their glitter eyeshadow actually has a cream base of nude or black, with glitter to tap on top. I think it's better to pay a little extra for eye glitter because cheap glitter can be damaging if you get it in your eye. I don't know any drugstore brands that make them in *bright* colors, though. Have fun!

Im not sure where you buy them from but perhaps if you searched the name of the product on Google they might come up with some stores for you.
It may not be too cheap but the range definatley looks amazing. I would recommend trying Urban Decay, easily found in Boots. It has everything from multi-coloured glittery liquid eyeliners to edible shimmer dust! It can be quite expensive though.
i used to do this all the time when on a night out, firstly buy a thick eyeshadow usually the cheap ones aimed at young girls (prob get on local market) or make up stall and apply to the eye, then buy the little pots of glitter seperate (that cost about a pound) and apply over the eyeshadow with a cotton bud. as the eyeshadow is thick the glitter will stick to it!! its best to get a silver eyeshadow as any colour glitter can be added over the top as bright as you want.
p.s prob best to do your skin make up after the eyes if possible as the glitter tends to get everywhere when applying it so give your face a wipe down then apply foundation.

It may not be too cheap but the range definatley looks amazing. I would recommend trying Urban Decay, easily found in Boots. It has everything from multi-coloured glittery liquid eyeliners to edible shimmer dust! It can be quite expensive though.
i used to do this all the time when on a night out, firstly buy a thick eyeshadow usually the cheap ones aimed at young girls (prob get on local market) or make up stall and apply to the eye, then buy the little pots of glitter seperate (that cost about a pound) and apply over the eyeshadow with a cotton bud. as the eyeshadow is thick the glitter will stick to it!! its best to get a silver eyeshadow as any colour glitter can be added over the top as bright as you want.
p.s prob best to do your skin make up after the eyes if possible as the glitter tends to get everywhere when applying it so give your face a wipe down then apply foundation.

I use to be a model and we learned all kinds of different make-up techniques but the one thing that I learned about everyday make-up was this; You want to apply make-up to enhance your best features but you don't want to make your best features look cheap. So for everyday make-up if you want to look really good and polished and not cheap you do the following. You want to use a foundation that matches your skin tone and powder. You want a blush that gives you a little color on your cheeks but you don't want to look like a clown. You want to use subtle eye shadow and liner and always brush the eye-shadow up towards the brow. If you have blue eyes then a combination of gray and blue would look nice. You would use a soft medium gray and take a pointed brush and get some gray shadow on it and line your eyes both top and bottom and a line that is in the crease of your eye lid. then you want to get a little very soft blue on your brush and lightly apply in the middle of the eye lid. Then take a flat brush and sweep upwards from the top lash all the way up to the brow. Use an eye lash curler to curl the lashes and then apply black mascara lightly, let it dry and the apply a second coat. Don't let the lashes slump together. If they do clump then wipe your mascara brush off with a tissue and keep brushing your lashes until the clumps are gone and your lashes look feathery. Apply a light color lipstick and then use a lip linner the exact same color as the lipstick. When you are finished applying all your make-up, look in the mirror and put your hands over your eyes for a few seconds and then take them away and the first thing on your face that pops out at you in the mirror means you have to much in that area so you need to take a little off. The idea of wearing make-up is to enhance your beauty and look like your not wearing make-up. That is for everyday make-up. Models never use everyday make-up when they are working but they do when they are at the mall shopping or going to church or to school. You can get a little more dramatic with night make-up if you are going to a formal dance or a formal dinner. Because I was a model I am always aware of women who know how to apply their make-up and those that don't. A majority of women don't know how to apply make-up. Most of them either don't wear any or wear way to much. A young lady already has the most beautiful skin she is ever going to have so to cover to much of that natural beauty would be a shame. No. Using a very small amount of vaseline over your eyelids helps...a lot. Don't just lather it on or anything, that would make it messy. Just a small coat and the eyeshadow will stick. Boots would be a good place to try, as they seem to cover all price ranges. I use one made by Benefit. It's finely milled so it's better for your eyes and is very shimmery and pretty. Don't goo for anything with large bits of glitter as they can irritate your eyes if the glitter gets in them.

I bought some at Sephora, they come in all sorts of colors, kinda of pricey though. I also found some at Rite Aid for three bucks, they also have a variety of colors. They both work very well. You will sparkle like crazy, they are awesome.

Boots would be a good place to try, as they seem to cover all price ranges. I use one made by Benefit. It's finely milled so it's better for your eyes and is very shimmery and pretty. Don't goo for anything with large bits of glitter as they can irritate your eyes if the glitter gets in them.

Put some loose powder foundation under your eyes/ on your cheeks before you start, then you can get a brush and sweep any spillages up when you're done. It can be hard to get glitter shadows to stay without altering the colour, but if you don't mind it being a bit bolder then get a grey or black eyeliner pencil which is fairly soft and colour in the part of your lid where you want the shadow to stick to and put the shadow on top. It should cling for hours that way, always works for me, and it means you can shape the coloured areas too. =) hope that helps! x

don't use vasiline, it will make ur eyes feel heavy and look tired, also it is common for pplz to rub there eyes when caked with heavy stuff. i suggest with most confidance, use a gel eye shadow before u put on glittey eye shadow.. from personal experience and use.. i perfer ';Cover Girl's gel shadows';. use ones that have shimmer in them, adding glittery shdow on top of the gel shadow makes ur makeup sparkle!
(i should know since i've been doing makeup since a child due to being apart of a dance studio for more than 11 years... sweat and droopy eyes are what i've learned to tame.. vasiline is not at all a good idea!!!)

You can hold a tissue underneath your eye while applying the eyeshadow, which should catch most of the glitter. This is also good when applying a loose powder shadow, to stop you looking like a disco panda. But a little makeup remover should do the trick if that doesn't work.

if you want 2 keep glitter on your eyes you got 2 go 2 mac they have paints or shadesticks they hold anything like loose eye powder it works really well they only run from the price range 15 to 20 dollars and how 2 keep it off ur cheecks get a piece of toilet paper and smear lotion on your cheecks and with the toilet paper wipe of the glitter and lotion it should work great KTHNXBI!!!

Setting cream glitter eyeshadow?

I would not recommend using paint brushes on your face, as those can be a bit too rough and shed hair.

I use paint brushes all the time, I do bridal make-up (as well as my own) and have found that ';make-up brushes'; never behave the way I want them to as well as costing me an arm and a leg just to wear them out sanitizing them. My caution would be to not buy them online as you cannot feel the brush to see if it is soft or not. They do not mention if the brushes are natural bristles, I would be hesitant to get them there, try a art or craft store instead.
If they don't work try doing the walls,especially the ones in the bedroom, you must blend them all in so you've got that ambience %26amp; then take your wig off %26amp; remove your teeth.

you say you only need three brushes, so why not buy actual ones? their texture and how they work will be so different than paint brushes. they are designed especially for the reasons you listed above. and i'm guessing using paint brushes on eyeshadow, not going to be good for the brush or your eyeshadow. and their texture won't really work, if you know what i mean.

I hate buying separate makeup because it's too expensive, that's why I want an eyeshadow palette similar to the Coastal Scents 88 palette. Or a set of makeup that comes with mascara, eyeshadow, blusher, lipgloss etc..

Also, if you want help with makeup, Mary Kay ladies will do a free in home facial and teach you how to do everything (my mom used to do it) they are great :) you can search for one in your area by going to Mary Kay cosmetics website

Eyeshadow with deep set/sunken eyes?
Okay so I have a problem. I have deep sunken eyes. I love my eyes but it's hard for eyeshadow to stay on. My problem is that after like just one hour, the makeup around the crease rubs off because of the constant skin rubbing from blinking.

To help eyeshadow stay on you need to use an primer like Urban Decay's Primer Potion. You just dab a bit on your lids and it creates a ';sticky'; base for the shadows to adhere to and last forever.

I start with a upper and lower eye liner (black kohl), which I then cover (directly on top, and only where the liner is) with various colors of eye shadow. Lately it's been a lot of purple, because it really accents my green eyes. Anyway, I find that liner will smear onto the upper part of your eyelid throughout the day- so I use a light dusting of silver or beige (just a neutral, barely noticeable shadow) on the rest of my lid. Don't use liner on bottom of eye! If you wanna brighten up, invest in a good glistening white of gold shadow like Mac etc and use sparingly on your inner eye near bridge of nose. Use soft browns to get smokey affects above crease of eyelid and make eyeliner even smokier by blending slightly witha black eye shadow. MAC absolutely does NOT produce or sell an 80-colour palette, nor have they ever done so in the past. The only ones available are fake (and potentially dangerous to use, given that you have no idea what ingredients have gone into them!)

It is MAC cosmetics, which is REALLY expensive. And it comes with 18 colors, and usually one color is almost 20 dollars. I have heard of lots of scandals,where they say it's an expensive brand like MAC, and when you get it it's some cheap makeup. OR you dont get the stuff at all...

You should join Specktra.com. There is a big post on that forum which specifically names dodgy ebay MAC sellers and another post which names authentic and trusted ebay MAC sellers.
Also, beware of ebay in general. There are lots of sellers selling fakes on there who will tell you their products are authentic. When you get into MAC a little more you will easily be able to spot out fakes, but if you're still new, you won't know the difference, so becareful.
If you're ever doubtful, always ask, however judging by the answers you've received so far, don't ask here. The Specktra makeup forums is full of awesome MAC obsessed girls who know the difference between fake and real from just one glance.
And just so you know, if you do buy fake MAC on ebay, ebay cannot give you your money back. Most of the time any refund you receive has to be issued by the seller. They will most likely not give you a refund. If you pay via Paypal and then file a claim with them, it may be possible to receive a refund, however this process is quiet slow and doesn;t guarantee anything.
Prevention is better than cure.

It's difficult to tell by looking at the photo whether they are genuine MAC products, although they do appear to be so. Of course there are many knockoffs out there. I myself have a Prada purse that cost me only $20. :)
Considering the cost, when including the shipping, it's not a bad price to get that quantity of eyeshadow. It could be chancy though. The seller only had one previous buyer (you'll have better luck buying from established sellers) and the seller is located in Thailand making it difficult to sort out a missing shipment or trying to get a refund for shoddy merchandise.
My advice: If you want inexpensive, quality make-up, check out ELF cosmetics. They've been featured on Oprah and in magazines and most items are $1, with the expensive items being about $5.
I would avoid this auction for 2 reasons:
1. Lack of feedback/unestablished seller
2. Coming from Thailand.
You could get your money back if you paid through PayPal and it turned out to be bogus but do you really want to deal with the hassle?
