sandcastle has 2 neutral colors, 1 gold, 1 brown, 1 light sparkly gold and one sparkly white. Plus a mirror that slides out and a brush :).
I've been using Revlon eye shadow for years - a 4 color set is about $9 at Target. I like it better than the higher priced department store brands. If you have an Ulta store near you, go there - they have LOTS to choose from and good advice on colors, etc. Good luck!

maybelline works the best (for cheap brands) if you know how to put it on =] practice makes perfect.
good luck. and i recommend using your finger instead of the brush (it works for me a lot better)
With 8 dollars, the best idea is to go to Ebay.com, and search for eye shadows, People will sell tonnes of not used makeup for 1-3$.. Even MAC products.
