Okay so I have a problem. I have deep sunken eyes. I love my eyes but it's hard for eyeshadow to stay on. My problem is that after like just one hour, the makeup around the crease rubs off because of the constant skin rubbing from blinking.
Does anyone out there know something I can do to help this? And which do you think is better for my situation: powder shadow or cream shadow?Eyeshadow with deep set/sunken eyes?
To help eyeshadow stay on you need to use an primer like Urban Decay's Primer Potion. You just dab a bit on your lids and it creates a ';sticky'; base for the shadows to adhere to and last forever.
If you use a powder shadow you can control the amount better. You can pack the shadow on instead of sweeping it on.
Hope that helps!Eyeshadow with deep set/sunken eyes?
first, you need an eyeshadow primer. If you don't have the money to go buy one, the second best thing is using your foundation as your primer.
that will help your eyeshadow stay on longer.
I would use a powder shadow because it doesn't crease as much because it's not as creamy and stays put better.
Also if your eyes are sunken, then lighter eyeshadow like cream, peach, or white help them to look less sunken.
I've heard that applying moisturizer on your eyelids before applying eyeshadows helps keep it on longer. I think metallic eyeshadows would probably help the color pop even if your eyes are sunken. Maybe a powder shadow on top of the moisturizer would work better than cream shadow but you should experiment with both.
