How do you get glittery eyeshadow to stay on your eyes and not on your face!!!?

Unless your 11 and just beginning to use makeup don't wear glitter.How do you get glittery eyeshadow to stay on your eyes and not on your face!!!?

water or moisturiser rubbed in so your skin is still damp





dont use alot of vaseline
try buying the cream version of eyeshadow, it stays on your eyes only and comes in alot of cool shades, if you can't find any, put foundation, concelear, mosturizer....... whatever floats ur boat on your eyelids, just rub it it, you don't need alot, just enough to make your lids mouiste enough that when you put on the eyeshadow, it sticks!!

I think the best way is to apply with your finger. I have found a few good eye shadows here http://www.wishcosmetics.co.uk/acatalog/鈥?/a> which will be easier to apply.
Do not blink or move! Otherwise put a fixative like vaseline on before you glitter.
Put some loose powder foundation under your eyes/ on your cheeks before you start, then you can get a brush and sweep any spillages up when you're done. It can be hard to get glitter shadows to stay without altering the colour, but if you don't mind it being a bit bolder then get a grey or black eyeliner pencil which is fairly soft and colour in the part of your lid where you want the shadow to stick to and put the shadow on top. It should cling for hours that way, always works for me, and it means you can shape the coloured areas too. =) hope that helps! x

Dip your applicator in vaseline get excess off and dip in eyeshadow then apply.

i find the best bet is to put foundation on your eye lids first it helps it stick den reapply bit more foundation under ur eyes n checks
Use M.A.C Pigments ,wet the eyelid with a little bit of bit and apply the shimmery powder .It will last all night long and wont smudge!
A trick of the pro make up trade- put Visine Eye Drops on the dry shadow and apply it wet. It will dry quickly and you wont get glitter on the rest of your face.
don't use vasiline, it will make ur eyes feel heavy and look tired, also it is common for pplz to rub there eyes when caked with heavy stuff. i suggest with most confidance, use a gel eye shadow before u put on glittey eye shadow.. from personal experience and use.. i perfer ';Cover Girl's gel shadows';. use ones that have shimmer in them, adding glittery shdow on top of the gel shadow makes ur makeup sparkle!


(i should know since i've been doing makeup since a child due to being apart of a dance studio for more than 11 years... sweat and droopy eyes are what i've learned to tame.. vasiline is not at all a good idea!!!)
